Marquis installs new CoBo-Stack MBO

Komcan successfully installs a CoBo-Stack MBO at the Montmagny, Que., factory of Marquis Imprimeur, a division of Lakeside Book Company specializing in print runs of one to 5,000 copies.

The MBO CoBo-Stack is a cobot, a collaborative robot operating without a protective cage. Stacks of products, for example folded notebooks, are transported between the exit and the table of the CoBo-Stack. There, the cobot takes the piles and places them on pallets. This relieves the operator of any physical work and saves employee fatigue.
