Art Smart adds INcut DC-6040 digital finisher from Insource

Art Smart Digital Printing of Vaughan, Ont., has installed the INcut DC-6040 digital finisher from Insource. The new solution is designed to automatically feed, cut, crease and kiss-cut digital sheets in a single process.

According to Insource, the INcut DC-6040 works with coated and non-coated papers, folding cartons, labels, magnets, synthetic papers and more.

Owned by Rick and Jane Dalmus, Art Smart Digital Printing has been in business for two decades and produces a range of products, including direct mail, print personalization, custom shape decals, gift cards, booklets, posters and variable data. The new machine is expected to save Art Smart about $10,000 to $15,000 in costs and will be used for short-run production.
