Lowe-Martin was the first Canadian printing company to become EcoLogo certified in offset and digital imaging. In 2003, it was one of the first printing companies to earn an FSC certification. In 2011, it became the first carbon-neutral printer in Ontario.

Lowe-Martin is continuing to move toward its goal of becoming a digital, zero-waste production platform. We at PrintAction are delighted to recognize Lowe-Martin as the Most Environmentally Progressive Company of 2021.

A global label solutions provider, MCC is one of the largest label companies in the world in the market segments of healthcare, home & personal care, food & beverage, automotive & consumer durables, and wine & spirits. With over 10,000 employees, it operates 86 label producing operations in more than 25 countries. In 2016, MCC celebrated celebrated its 100th year in business.

MCC won three Canadian Printing Awards this year and earned honourable mentions in multiple categories. Abdrabo and Forbes explained the processes that resulted in these winning pieces of print.

Hemlock won 11 Canadian Printing Awards this year and earned honourable mentions in many categories.

Moyles took us behind the scenes of a couple of the winning projects and explained how the Hemlock team created these beautiful pieces of print.
