On November 8, 2018, PrintAction and parent company Annex Business Media presented Chris Pereira, President of C17media, the Emerging Leader of the Year Award at the 13th annual Canadian Printing Awards.
This year a record 114 Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards were presented in five program sections: Industry Achievement, Print Design, Printing, Technology and Environmental categories.

Engaging on his passion for marketing, Chris Pereira launched C17media in 2010 and has since been leading the Richmond Hill-based commercial printer as President. By understanding that the visual communications landscape is ever evolving, C17 has built a solid foundation focused on client relationships and innovative solutions. In 2014, the City of Richmond Hill awarded him Entrepreneur of the Year. Beyond his immeasurable work ethic, Pereira truly believes in giving back to the community and has aligned C17media as a partner for change.
