Jonathan Gault named Community Leader of the Year

On November 8, 2018, PrintAction and parent company Annex Business Media presented Jonathan Gault, Manager of Eva’s Phoenix Print Shop, the Community Leader of the Year Award at the 13th annual Canadian Printing Awards.
This year a record 114 Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards were presented in five program sections: Industry Achievement, Print Design, Printing, Technology and Environmental categories.

A graduate of York University, Gault has over 15 years of experience working in print production, media and publishing. As the Manager of Eva’s Print Shop from 2016, Gault has worked to pass on his enthusiasm for print and all things graphic arts to the next generation of print professionals. Eva’s Print Shop is a commercial printer and social enterprise which trains and employs young people experiencing and at risk of homelessness. It is operated by Eva’s Initiatives For Homeless Youth and all profit is redirected into its shelter, housing, and training programs for youth. The ultimate goal of Eva’s Print Shop is to help young people build lifelong skills and tools to exit homelessness for good and journey into brighter futures.
