Inkjet industry leader, Xaar has announced it will collaborate with 3D printing pioneer, Materialise to bring the best of additive manufacturing technology to its customers.
Materialise’s 3D printing software, Materialise Magics and Materialise Build Processor, will be included as a bundle option with Xaar’s additive manufacturing development kit. Materialize Magics, their data preparation software, makes 3D models printable with advanced mesh editing, repair and advancement. The Materialise Build Processor allows users to output mutli-channel and multi-pass formats to construct print strategies and transforms 3D models to a specific data format inkjet machine.
Xaar says the partnership with Materialise will provide customers looking to develop inkjet enabled additive manufacturing equipment with a “one-stop shop”.
“Combining Xaar’s printing systems and Materialise’s software solutions gives our customers easy access to best-in-class complementary technologies and will undoubtedly allow for much easier and faster 3D printer development programs.” Neil Hopkinson, Director of 3D Printing at Xaar says.
