Minuteman Press of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, recently purchased the Minuteman Halifax location. As part of the acquisition, management also invested in a Ryobi press package which includes a 34DI press and a new CTP system. The equipment was purchased from Canadian Printing Equipment.
The Dartmouth location of Minuteman Press has been in operation for over 30 years and is staffed by over a dozen full-time employees. Current President Mike Maheux has owned it for 16 years. The company says the addition of the Ryobi 34DI will complement its existing line of traditional offset and digital equipment.
Minuteman Press is the largest printing franchise in the world, with over 920 locations established since 1973. In Canada, there are more than 75 locations.
