PrintFast.ca launches free greeting card campaign to thank frontline workers
May 21, 2020 By PrintAction Staff
Toronto-based online printing service PrintFast.ca has launched a free online greeting card promotion that allows people to personally thank frontline workers amid COVID-19.
The ‘Thank a Real-Life Hero for Free’ program allows customers to visit PrintFast.ca’s website and send a thank-you card to the frontline worker of their choice. A number of specially-designed templates are available to choose from, and can be customized using the site’s design tools. Alternatively, customers can upload the artwork to create their own. PrintFast.ca will mail cards to recipients on the customer’s behalf.
While the service is free, participating customers have the option of purchasing a gift to add to the card or donating in support of COVID-19 relief efforts at Scarborough Health Network (SHN).
PrintFast.ca has also donated $5,000 to SHN, as well as 100 clear face shields for hospital staff. The company will also donate all proceeds from the campaign to SHN Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund.
PrintFast.ca is also asking local artists to join in the program by donating their designs for use in the Thank a Real-Life Hero program. Artists are asked to email their artwork to thankahero@printfast.ca or contact the company for more information.
“These are anxious and uncertain times,” said Thurairatnam Thusyandan, CEO of PrintFast.ca. “While most of us are staying home, our local heroes are working hard to protect us and make sure we still have access to life’s essentials. We want to create an opportunity for people to thank them in a meaningful and heartfelt way.”
“We are incredibly thankful to PrintFast.ca for their support, and for helping people share their gratitude with SHN’s brave doctors, nurses, clinical staff and front-line workers,” said Alicia Vandermeer, President & CEO, SHN Foundation. “This new thank-you program by PrintFast.ca will continue to keep these heroes motivated and energized in the fight against COVID-19.”
