Standard Finishing Systems appoints Shaun Hunt as the director of technical services.
Hunt spent most of his career as the field technology service manager for Ricoh USA. He worked with his team throughout the New England region, where he currently lives with his family. After 36 years at Ricoh, Hunt joined the Standard Finishing team in May 2021 as the technical services operations manager, where he was tasked with overseeing product management, parts management, and project management within the technical services department. After proving himself to be a great addition to the technical team with his over 20 years’ of management experience, Standard’s executive committee announced that Hunt would step into the new role of director of technical services at the end of 2021.
“After his 36 years in the industry, Shaun possesses deep operational insight and keen managerial instincts,” said David Reny, executive vice-president, Standard Finishing Systems. “After working with Shaun this past year, we knew he was the right person to take over the critical role of director of technical services, which has been so capably managed by the retiring Dan Desmond.”
