On January 1, 2023, Michel Hunkeler, CEO of Hunkeler AG, will hand over his position as managing director to Daniel Erni, global sales manager and member of Hunkeler AG’s executive board.
As a board member, Michel Hunkeler will continue to be involved in the strategic direction of the Hunkeler Group and work closely with the executive board.
Erni has been with Hunkeler since 2016. As chief sales officer and member of the executive board, he has been a major force in the company’s ability to increase sales, earnings and market share in recent years. Prior to joining Hunkeler AG, Erni held positions as managing director and sales manager in several other companies.
Erni will continue to report directly to Michel Hunkeler. Stefan Hunkeler’s position as chair of Hunkeler’s board of directors will continue unchanged. The existing executive management team will also remain in place.
