A ClearTech Industries branch in Port Coquitlam, B.C. has installed a Lemorau EBRM+ semi-rotary finishing system to add finishing capabilities to its label department.
The addition of the Lemorau allows ClearTech to die-cut their differently sized labels from the same raw label material, which will help the company save money on its printed labels, while providing flexibility to change sizes as needed. It also allows the company to die-cut or finish their labels out of a raw roll of material, rather than using pre-cut roll labels, which can get very expensive.
“One of the main benefits of having your own label cutter is that it gives you a lot more flexibility when it comes to ordering label materials,” said Shaan Patel of Arrow Systems, Inc., which is a distributor for Lemorau in Canada and the United States. “When you are printing on pre-cut labels you have to keep inventory of each size that you are planning on printing. This becomes a logistical nightmare for a lot of companies, and a small label cutter like the EBRM can solve that in no time!”
