Lowe-Martin installs two Kodak Nexfinity presses

Lowe-Martin has added two Kodak Nexfinity digital presses to its business. With facilities in Ottawa and Toronto, the company’s services include large format digital (LFD), retail, commercial, direct mail, secure print, e-commerce/fulfilment and packaging. The addition of the Kodak presses will allow Lowe-Martin to increase its uptime, achieve higher output and expand its capabilities.

The Nexfinity digital press can provide production speeds of up to 152 A4 pages per minute. It operates with same edge perfecting, which ensures the best front-to-back and side-to-side registration of the printed sheets. The press supports a wide range of substrate types, thicknesses and sheet sizes, without the need for surface treatments. It also provides a range of digital print embellishment options in its fifth imaging unit. There are 13 standard fifth imaging units to choose from, including specialty inks, plus custom spot colours and matte and gloss finishes.
