Simpson Print invests in swissQprint Nyala 3

Simpson Print of Bloomingdale, Ont., has recently installed a swissQprint Nyala 3 roll-to-roll wide-format printer.

Installed January 2019, the six-colour + orange, white and clear system will primarily produce P.O.P, display and tradeshow graphics, art and décor printing, decals and specialty graphics.

Simpson Print President Carla Johanns explains the swissQprint Nyala 3 doubles the company’s digital output capacity.

“This installation expands on our current capabilities as an addition to our excellent wide-format capabilities. We have streamlined both of our high quality Nyala flatbed presses by matching up ink and colour capabilities, allowing us to fulfill our clients requests with the same level of quality, but faster and more competitively,” says Johanns. “Digital printing is fast and effective, and we see the trend of increased digital print in the marketplace. This was a key purchase in making sure we are well suited for the expansion of digital for years to come.”

Established more than 50 years ago, Simpson Print is an all-under-one-roof print manufacturing facility that specializes in high-resolution screen, UV offset and large- and small-format digital printing.
