Insource Corp. plans to highlight new product launches from its distribution partners at drupa 2016 for PrintAction’s upcoming PrintForum conference, taking place June 22, at the Mississauga Convention Centre. PrintForum is a 1-day conference featuring educational sessions to highlight new drupa innovations, as well as exhibits of new industry technologies.
RISO introduced three new inkjet printing technologies at drupa, including the ComColor GD9630, which runs at 160 pages per minute (compatible with Fiery); ComColor FW5230, a compact high-speed inkjet printer for office print work; and the SF9350.
In particular, Insource will focus its PrintForum exhibit around these new RISO technologies. On the finishing side, Insource will focus on the newest tech from Petratto and SCS. Petratto at drupa is exhibiting a range of high-speed platen die cutting and creasing machines, including the unveiling of the Petratto scoring and laser die cutter. The multi-dimensional hybrid system is fully automated and can reach speeds of up to 3,500 products per hour.
At PrintForum, Insource will also discuss how to approach two head round cornering or book block splitting for book and brochure production via SCS technology. The company will also discuss the KAS Mailmaster Eclipse DL to C4 Envelope Inserter, inserting at speeds of up to 8,000 completed envelopes per hour, and printing, converting and inserting technology from W+D leader.
In addition to Insource, PrintForum exhibitors include Canon Canada (event sponsor), Delphax, Domtar, Grand Valley Direct, IMAC, PDS, Sydney Stone and Veritiv.
