WBM Technologies acquires Carlyle Printers Service & Supplies

Manitoba-based WBM Technologies buys print technology solution provider Carlyle Printers Service and Supplies. The move brings together two of Manitoba’s strongest managed print support organizations.

Together with Carlyle, WBM will now be home to a team of 95 professionals, while adding a new support service location and a 15,000-sf facility in Winnipeg.

“This announcement is the continuation of what we feel is a proven approach in bringing great people and customers together around a shared vision and shared values,” says WBM vice-president Brett Bailey. “This is a significant move in the managed print industry in Canada, and we couldn’t be more excited to be taking another strategic step forward that will allow us to add amazing new organizations to our client community, and to build even more great careers right here in Western Canada.”

As part of the acquisition, Eric Johannson will continue to lead the Carlyle team in Manitoba, and he will now join the WBM Technologies leadership team. Co-founder Derek Johannson will continue to work with the Carlyle team, and to foster key customer relationships in a consultative role.
