Experts assess exceptional Canadian Printing Awards submissions, judging concludes

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the judging process for this year’s Canadian Printing Awards competition.

With an impressive pool of over 200 entries, the 17^th Annual Canadian Printing Awards saw rigorous evaluation by two sets of esteemed juries, consisting of a total of 14 expert judges.

The judging took place on September 28, 2023, Annex Business Media’s (which owns PrintAction) Toronto office. It proved to be an all-day affair dedicated to recognizing excellence in the printing industry.

The Canadian Printing Awards, a prestigious annual event, celebrates outstanding achievements the printing and graphic arts sector. Entries from across the country showcased the incredible talent and innovation present within Canada’s printing industry.

The two sets of judges, carefully selected for their extensive industry knowledge and expertise, dedicated their time and efforts to carefully assess each submission. Their meticulous evaluation ensured that only the most exceptional and innovative works received recognition.

Judging categories encompassed a wide range of printing-related fields in the four main fields of:

• Printing;
• Print Production;
• Envrionmental; and
• Technology

The Canadian Printing Awards judging event was not only an opportunity to recognize excellence, but also a platform for industry professionals to come together and exchange ideas, insights, and inspirations. The diverse backgrounds and perspectives of the judges enriched the overall judging process and highlighted the industry’s ever-evolving nature.

The winners of the Canadian Printing Awards will be revealed during the awards ceremony, a highly anticipated event within the printing industry. The gala will take place on November 9 at the Palais Royale, Toronto.
