Global Imaging installs Canon Colorado 1650 UVgel printer

Ontario-based Global Imaging is a specialist in large format print production, offering services in design, printing, and manufacturing of POP displays.

A Canon wide format customer since 2007, Global Imaging has invested in a new Canon Colorado 1650 UVgel high speed roll printer. With the Colorado series, the chemical and scratch resistant GreenGuard Gold certified UVGel inks provide instant dry durable prints that in many cases eliminate the need for lamination. The Colorado 1650 will also add new application and design function, incorporating Canon’s unique FLXfinish+ print technology that can provide matte and gloss ‘varnish-like’ print effects without changing the media or ink.
