Epson’s roll-to-roll resin signage printers now available

Epson has announced its first signage printers to feature multi-purpose resin ink are now available through authorized Epson Professional Imaging resellers. The 64-inch SureColor R5070 and SureColor R5070L roll-to-roll signage printers with water-based resin ink “provide professional-quality wallpapers, fabrics, uncoated papers, and traditional signage at remarkable speeds”. Both printers offer low ink costs and feature 1.5L ink packs for “enhanced efficiency”; the SureColor R5070L includes 3L per colour with hot swap technology that automatically switches from an empty ink pack to a new one mid-print for uninterrupted printing.

The SureColor R5070 and SureColor R5070L leverage six-colour UltraChrome RS Resin ink to produce professional-quality prints and colour consistency for repeat jobs, brand colours, wall tiling applications, and more. Both printers include the new Epson Edge Print enterprise workflow software for tracking jobs, managing variable data and streamlining workflow integration. Access to the Epson Edge Dashboard provides users with remote oversite and control of their Epson printer fleet.
